New end-of-trip facilities at 379 Collins Street

25 February 2022

Works are now complete on the new end-of-trip facilities at 379 Collins Street. The exclusive and boutique facility includes a bike store with 42 secure bike racks and a bike repair station, as well as change-rooms with 72 lockers, six showers and grooming stations. This is part of the $11.3 million we have invested into building upgrades over the past 12 months.

The upgrade at 379 Collins Street is just one of approximately 30 refurbishment projects that have been undertaken across our commercial asset portfolio during the pandemic. These completed and ongoing building upgrades include new end-of-trip facilities and lobbies, along with upgrades to plant and equipment, and turn-key fitouts.

The new end-of-trip facilities at 379 Collins Street will help our tenants to begin and end their working day with comfort and convenience. This upgraded amenity reflects our aim to support the health and wellbeing of our community. As our tenants formally return to the office, we hope the use of these facilities will become a part of their weekday routines.

Designed in collaboration with PTID, the new space evokes a sense of clarity and calm for tenants to enjoy throughout the day. The design features of the upgraded luxury amenity include a premium mix of neutral and textural finishes.

We worked with Arete Australia to complete the new bike store and change room end-of-trip facilities at 379 Collins Street. The bike store facilities include: state-of-the-art ARC and Cradle bike storage system; bike repair and service station; 24 hr CCTV; and secure entry.

The high-end male and female change-room facilities include: showers with private change area; complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash; towel service; smart lockers equipped with hangers; drying cupboard and ironing facilities; grooming stations fully equipped with hair styling tools; shoe storage; and toilets.

In addition to our investment in the end-of-trip facilities, we are also investing in a major ground floor refurbishment and reposition. We are currently in the process of consulting with our community at 379 Collins Street to inform the design for the new lobby space, in order to make it a more dynamic meeting place for tenants and visitors. We value this feedback from our tenants in helping us to design facilities that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but that are functional, long-lasting and purposeful.

The new lobby space will better service the needs of our tenants through additions like coffee concepts, as well as activating the space through communal areas and more greenery. Our aim is to provide an elevated building experience for our commercial vertical communities.

We look forward to sharing these developments with you later in 2022.

Bringing nature inside: How Riverlee is connecting people to nature through design
