Riverlee proudly unveils a new era of luxury living with The Penthouse at Seafarers, Melbourne’s first hotel-branded penthouse.

Designed by Riverlee’s visionary Founder and Chairman, Clement Lee OAM, in collaboration with Fender Katsalidis, The Penthouse will be a 719-square-metre masterpiece. Launched during Riverlee’s 30-year celebrations, every space, detail, and functional aspect reflects our commitment to urban renewal and design excellence.

Throughout Clement Lee’s career, he has documented global hotel experiences, sharing his insights through hundreds of sketches with our design team. These learnings have shaped every inch of this rare and special home. Riverlee’s approach to designing Seafarers has already been awarded by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) (Design Excellence, 2020), and Melbourne Design Awards (Display Suite Residence (Silver, 2020).

Nestled within the Seafarers’ precinct, home to Australia’s first 1 Hotel & Homes and Melbourne’s newest riverfront parkland, Seafarers Rest, The Penthouse represents the pinnacle of Clement Lee’s 40-year career as an architect and urban planner.

“This is more than just a home—it is the crown jewel of Seafarers and a legacy that I am personally very proud of,” shares Clement Lee.

Situated on the final stretch of Melbourne’s original waterfront that celebrates the site’s maritime history, the 18th-floor penthouse features uninterrupted views of the Yarra River, and a series of immersive design highlights, including a 72sqm biophilic open terrace, skylit conservatory, private lobby entrance, wine cellar, formal dining, and cocktail lounge.

When complete The Penthouse will be the first hotel-branded residence of its kind to exist in Melbourne, providing residents exclusive 24/7 access to world-class amenities and services.
